Festivalul de Viteză de la Goodwood, ediţia 2019, a început! Datorită tehnologiilor moderne transmitem în direct evenimentul din Marea Britanie, la care anual vin zeci de mii de spectatori pentru a urmări în acţiune cele mai tari maşini de pe planetă.

Ediţia din acest an se promite a fi una mai interesantă, asta deoarece Aston Martin va marca cei 70 de ani de când a câştigat cursa de pe circuitul local şi cei 60 de ani de când a cucerit primele două locuri la Le Mans, Bentley – cei 100 de ani de la fondare, iar Pagani cele două decenii de istorie. Mai mult, la eveniment vor participa piloţi celebri din autosportul mondial, printre şi piloţi de Formula 1.

Cea mai interesantă parte a evenimentului este cursa în care se încearcă stabilirea celui mai bun timp pe un traseu care urcă în rampă şi are o lungime de 1.86 de km. Cel mai bun timp a fost înregistrat de Nick Heidfeld în anul 1999, la volanul unui monopost McLaren MP4/13 – 41.6 secunde. Până în prezent acest rezultat nu a fost bătut de nimeni. După trei zile de practică, duminică cele mai rapide şi performante maşini vor încerca să bată acest timp.

Evenimentul începe de astăzi şi va dura până pe 7 iulie inclusiv. În fiecare zi, transmisiunea în direct va dura câteva ore şi ulterior vor fi reluări.
